| From the aptly named opening track "The Quiet Before the Storm" through the thundering conclusion of "Chain of Command", Chapel Hill, NC's BLACK SKIES throw their heavy hat into the ring with their latest EP "Hexagon". Together for just over three years, BLACK SKIES weave their songs with well-thought and executed riffs playing alongside a churning organic groove. This is tonal chemistry befitting of a legendary band sharing the same initials, yet with a decidedly American flavor. The limited edition vinyl pressing of "Hexagon" is available NOW via I'm Better Than Everyone Records, and features exclusive cover artwork by Tom Denney. This edition will be in an edition of 500 hand numbered copies, on 180g vinyl, with numbers 1-100 on clear brown vinyl and 101-500 on black. |
